Job summary

University of North Texas at Dallas is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Public Health courses for Spring 2027. The position supports the Classroom to Career initiative within the School of Human Services, with emphasis on experiential learning and student outcomes.

The instructor will develop and deliver undergraduate Public Health instruction, participate in office hours, and collaborate with faculty to advance curriculum.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health with outstanding experience in teaching Public Health courses.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in online/hybrid instruction.
• Proven teaching excellence in undergraduate instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction for undergraduate Public Health courses.
• Include courses such as Introduction to Public Health, Program Planning and Evaluation, Health Promotion, Health Policy, Epidemiology.
• Design and evaluate teaching objectives and student learning outcomes.
• Fulfill divisional responsibilities, including holding office hours and participating in professional activities.
