Job summary

The Department of Rehabilitation & Health Services at the University of North Texas System seeks qualified Adjunct Instructors for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027 to teach undergraduate Public Health courses, in face-to-face or online formats, with duties including Introduction to Public Health and related topics.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Public Health or Health Services Administration, with at least three years of public health experience and experience teaching online or hybrid; PhD

Qualifications

Master’s Degree from an accredited Public Health and/or Health Services Administration or related area program.
A minimum of three years in a public health or health services setting.
Experience with online/hybrid/remote instruction.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses whose duties may include 2000, 3000, and 4000-level courses in Public Health, in face-to-face or online formats.
Courses may include Introduction to Public Health; Public Health Policy; Global Public Health; Public Health Management and Leadership; Ethics in Public Health; Community and Public Health Education.
Support and mentor undergraduate and graduate students as part of an interdisciplinary department.
