Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking an Online Adjunct Instructor for Inferential Statistics and Analytics in the CBE Assessment track. The role focuses on grading student work within a competency-based Education framework and requires managing a defined group of online learners.

The position reports to an Academic Dean and emphasizes rubrics-based feedback, professional conduct, and ongoing development through Rasmussen's REUs and professional activities. Remote, part-time by course workload.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred. (Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of study)
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, and peers.
• Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Grade the work coming in from students using detailed rubrics and feedback.
• Assigned a set number of students and grade all their submissions.
• Facilitate unbiased grading with expert understanding of course projects.
• Attend faculty meetings and contribute to committee work as designated.
