Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking online adjunct faculty for the Undergraduate Game Art and Development program. This remote role involves guiding students in an asynchronous course, providing feedback, and supporting experiential learning to help learners reach their goals.

You’ll report to the faculty dean team and engage students through timely guidance, resource sharing, and thoughtful assessment to foster mastery in game programming foundations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Game Programming, Math, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years experience applying math in an interactive programming context.
• 1+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• Technical skills in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Vectors & Matrices, Probability & Randomness, Logic & Boolean, Calculus, and Programming Structure.
• Proficiency with pseudocode.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize Student Engagement – Work with students by responding within set timeframes and reaching out proactively to students needing additional support.
• Share Expertise and Resources – Stay current in your field of expertise, share your experience, and recommend relevant supplementary materials to enhance student understanding of course content.
• Offer Feedback & Assessment – Evaluate student work and provide individualized, constructive feedback within set timeframes to promote growth and mastery of course outcomes.
• Facilitate Discussions – Encourage student interaction through online discussions while fostering an inclusive, engaging environment.
