Job summary

UMGC invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach remotely in the Accounting & Cyber-Accounting program. Positions include courses such as Accounting Information Systems, CyberAccounting: Management and Compliance, Cyber Forensics in Accounting, and Information Technology Auditing.

A terminal degree in business or related field is required; online teaching experience with adult learners is preferred. Certification in cybersecurity (e.g., CISA) is desirable.

Qualifications

• PhD/DBA/JD in business or related field required from an accredited institution.
• At least one cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISA) preferred.
• Experience teaching online to adult learners in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote courses in Accounting Information Systems, CyberAccounting, and IT Auditing.
• Engage students online with regular interaction and feedback.
• Design and assess coursework, rubrics, and student projects.
• Collaborate with program chair on curricular improvements and outcomes.
• Provide timely communication and availability for students.
