About The Role

Array Behavioral Care is hiring a full-time, 100% virtual Psychiatrist to provide measurement-based, culturally humble episodic care to patients in acute crisis across various settings and states. You will immerse yourself in the buzz of emergency departments, hospital medical floors, or crisis stabilization units from the comfort of your own home. Array Emergency Psychiatrists collaborate with onsite professionals to determine a timely disposition and use evidence-based practices to provide care to vulnerable individuals experiencing mental health crises.

What You’ll Do

1. Serve multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis and find the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care.
2. Receive support throughout your shift from our 24/7 access center, which triages cases and ensures you have what you need to successfully treat each patient.
3. Direct and/or implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
4. Utilize a collaborative care approach within your partner’s healthcare treatment team.

What We’re Looking For

1. Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist.
2. Unrestricted, independent licensure.
3. Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles.
4. Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups.
5. Experience treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds and provide culturally competent care.
7. Experience working with multiple EMRs simultaneously.
8. Advanced technical proficiency with hardware, Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software, particularly in telehealth.
9. Thrive in a supportive, collaborative, solutions-oriented, and inclusive environment.
10. Interest in being a clinician within a thriving behavioral health care modality.
11. Passion for transforming access to quality behavioral care through innovative technology.

Position Logistics

1. 100% remote position.
2. Must have a private office space for confidentiality.
3. Support for obtaining additional state licensure and DEA licenses, including coverage of costs.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Pay range: $150 - $195/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
2. Eligibility for 401k, wellness programs, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
3. At 24 hours/week, eligibility for CME credits and FlexTime.
4. Full benefits at 30 hours/week, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, FSA, and HSA contributions.
5. Medical liability coverage.
