Job summary

agilon health, inc. is seeking an Actuarial Manager, Tools and Models to own core actuarial models and tools used for reserving and forecasting for MA and value-based care populations. You will mentor analysts and lead projects, ensuring data quality and standardized reporting.

The role supports the annual budget, uses payor bid data, and collaborates with the Markets Actuarial teams. Fully remote with minimal travel, reporting to Sr. Director of Central Actuarial.

Qualifications

• 6+ years actuarial experience (8+ preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership via project ownership and cross-functional initiatives.
• ASA or FSA designation with a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain actuarial models and tools.
• Monitor data quality and drive reporting enhancements.
• Lead budget process with trend studies and assumptions.
• Collaborate across Markets Actuarial teams and central actuarial functions.
• Mentor junior analysts and support internal/external audits.
