The role supports administrative tasks and gains hands-on experience relevant to the student’s field of study. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited program and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be concurrently enrolled in and progressing through an education program in a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in knowledge and skills in the field related to the intern opportunity.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated organization skills, detail oriented and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a variety of projects that support department/facility needs; works with team to identify solutions and achieves goals.
• Gains knowledge of department/facility functions and shadows various roles to understand their contributions.
• May be assigned specific projects; demonstrates understanding of processes and accountability; works independently or with a team to meet timelines.
• Provides staff operational/clerical support to the department/facility as needed.
