Job summary
WAHVE LLC is seeking seasoned actuarial professionals to join our remote team as Actuarial Analysts. This home-based role offers full or part-time schedules, leveraging your insurance pricing expertise to support carrier clients and reinsurance pricing initiatives.
Responsibilities include pricing studies, rate reviews, data analysis in relational databases, and collaboration with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, and Finance to expand product offerings.
Qualifications
- 25 years of full-time work experience.
- 10 most current years of actuarial experience with commercial lines pricing in the Property & Casualty sector.
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pricing studies to evaluate profitability of insurance products and perform trend analysis.
- Lead state and product rate reviews and filings by interpreting bureau rate changes.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Product Management, Sales, Finance to support revisions and expansion of products.
- Assess experience, source of earnings, reserve adequacy, and forward-looking drivers to develop reserve recommendations.
- Develop rating methodologies for existing and new products.
