Centene Corp. is seeking an Accountant II to join its Corporate Finance and Accounting team. This remote role will support monthly and quarterly journal entries, stock compensation accounting and forecasting, SEC reporting, and GL reconciliations.

You will analyze financial data, assist with audits, and collaborate across departments while adhering to strict deadlines. A CPA is preferred, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries.
• Stock compensation accounting and forecasting.
• Support SEC reporting team.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Analyze financial data.
• Provide audit assistance on financial, regulatory, and health plan audits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
