Proper is a San Francisco-based tech startup and we’re seeking an Accountant II to join our Accounting Operations team. This role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations in a fast-paced environment, with a collaborative, proactive attitude and strong communication.

Remote work is available for this position, based in Colombia, with responsibilities spanning client invoicing, vendor updates, payment postings, and adherence to company SOPs to ensure accurate daily

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting roles supporting AP/AR processes.
• Ability to follow SOPs and ensure data quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process daily invoices and vendor payments in the system.
• Post tenant payments and ensure accurate AR records.
• Pull bank statements and reconcile transactions.
• Escalate issues to Senior Accountant as needed.
