Remote Account Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced remote account manager to join our team. As an virtual account manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of small business clients, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their financial health and success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of small business clients, acting as their trusted advisor for financial matters.
  • Oversee all aspects of client bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client financial processes and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless and integrated services.
  • Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero) and other relevant tools.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role within the accounting/bookkeeping field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and accounting client management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly accurate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with small businesses is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual Salary: $45,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
