Position: Account Executive (Project Manager)

We are currently hiring for an Account Executive to join our Domestic Retail Runway. The role involves overseeing the successful execution of assigned accounts, typically larger and more complex, involving coordination across design, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and customer service. The Account Executive will lead project activities, manage staff, and seek opportunities to grow business within assigned accounts.

Travel:

Up to 20%, remote work possible, with travel within the United States.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Grow customer account value through strategic planning and management.
  2. Acquire new accounts through excellent customer service and execution.
  3. Train and develop staff for account team excellence.
  4. Define project scope and customer expectations; coordinate with internal teams.
  5. Review value engineering opportunities for cost savings.
  6. Ensure products meet customer specifications.
  7. Develop project timelines and monitor progress.
  8. Coordinate procurement to ensure timely and on-budget materials.
  9. Participate in prototype development and review.
  10. Monitor production, review costs, and implement corrective actions.
  11. Lead initiatives to improve gross margins and reduce costs.
  12. Provide shipping instructions and verify site conditions.
  13. Manage customer inventory to reduce obsolescence risks.
  14. Facilitate outsourcing as needed.
  15. Support sales and estimating with technical expertise.
  16. Visit manufacturing sites for quality review.
  17. Provide sales forecasts for assigned customers.
  18. Conduct post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
  19. Manage quality costs and root cause analysis for COQ reduction.
Qualifications:
  1. 15+ years' experience in account management within manufacturing or consumer industries.
  2. 10+ years' leadership experience managing project teams in manufacturing.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
  4. Understanding of ERP systems.
  5. Technical knowledge in Architectural/Interior Design preferred.
  6. Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  8. Strong organizational skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  9. Exceptional customer service focus.
  10. Experience managing multimillion-dollar accounts.
  11. Proven leadership in managing large programs across regions.
  12. Ability to motivate and develop project teams.
  13. Strong relationship-building skills with clients and vendors.
  14. Ability to problem-solve and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  15. Business math skills applicable to manufacturing processes.
Salary Range:

$90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on location and experience.

Bonus / Incentive Pay:

Discretionary annual bonus based on company and business unit performance.
