Job summary

CRC Benefits is seeking an Account Executive to retain and grow co-broker small employer group accounts. You will maintain relationships with clients and carrier reps, propose new coverage lines, and manage renewals in a fully remote role that requires an active Life & Health license and strong Mid-Atlantic benefits knowledge.

The Account Service Division partners with brokers to manage existing books of business.

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health license required.
• Associates degree preferred, with a minimum of two years in small group employee health benefits.
• Strong knowledge of carrier plan features, benefits, and underwriting guidelines.
• Experience with group health insurance brokers or carriers.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook; web browsers including Chrome/Edge.
• Effective verbal and written communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Represent company services professionally to foster client growth.
• Manage renewal processes for assigned clients.
• Present renewals to clients and producers and advise on market alternatives.
• Provide carrier procedures and product availability guidance.
• Follow up on service issues and renewals.
• Maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email, and in person.
• Enroll clients in Employee Benefits tools and demonstrate usage.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and new coverage lines.
• Lead group meetings/webinars to educate customers.
• Understand company products and processes and how clients interact with them.
• Build knowledge of insurance markets, products, and regulations.
• Listen to client ideas, resolve conflicts, and provide timely feedback.
• Actively participate in team meetings to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Physical requirements include sitting, speaking/hearing, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
