The Wood Agency Life, a 100% remote independent-contractor life insurance sales agency, seeks driven individuals to help families explore coverage options. You will meet with prospects who have shown interest, review finances, and guide them through the application process with careful attention to disclosures and underwriting requirements.

Ideal candidates have a banking background, a current or planned life insurance license, and operate as self-directed professionals.

What you'll actually do

• Contact people who have already requested life insurance information and book appointments
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing any coverage
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because details matter to underwriting
• Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed
• Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training

Who this is a fit for

• A background in banking, lending, or credit union member service
• Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping
• Able to talk about family finances respectfully and without pressure
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
• Self-directed, planning your own day and your own follow-up
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
