Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of HTML and LaTex.
• Previous experience with Assistive Technology.
• Knowledge of digital accessibility standards, such as the WCAG.

Responsibilities

• Procure course content from Canvas, the Penn State Library, databases, publishers, and other locations.
• Convert files between a variety of formats (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, PDF, Text, HTML, etc.).
• Split and reorganize content based on individual student need.
• Deliver content to students upon completion and approval by management.
• Content remediation for visually impaired students.
• Audit content for accessibility.
• Remediate content based on student need (e.g., headings, page numbers, image/video descriptions, tables, equations, tactile graphics).
• Actively track tasks using the team's project management tool and prioritize assignments by due date.
