Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a critically thinking, thorough, customer service-oriented individual to join our Patient Engagement Center as an Access Center Specialist (Care Team Specialist I) in our patient access call center.

The Access Center Specialists serve as vital liaisons between the medical care team and patients. The role involves engaging with diverse callers to our primary and specialty clinics, gathering essential information, assisting with scheduling and navigation, and providing clinical teams with the necessary information to deliver high-quality care. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a customer service mindset are essential for ensuring a smooth healthcare experience for patients.

The ideal candidate will have remote work experience, experience in medical office reception or dispatching, strong communication skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities include answering patient calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and communicating with clinical care teams. Schedule

40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, start times between 7:15 am and 8:45 am depending on departmental needs.
