Job summary

Centene seeks an Utilization Review Clinician - ABA to assess care and health status related to ABA services, ensuring medical appropriateness and monitoring effectiveness per ABA guidelines. Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree required.
• Master’s degree for behavioral health clinicians required.
• 2–4 years of related experience required.
• Licenses as LCSW/LMHC/LPC/LMFT/LMHP/BCBA or RN license with BCBA and state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate member’s care and health status before, during, and after ABA services.
• Perform prior authorization reviews to determine medical appropriateness.
• Analyze behavioral health data to improve service utilization.
• Interact with behavioral health providers about level of care and services.
• Educate members and families regarding ABA and utilization processes.
• Provide feedback to leadership for process improvement.
• Comply with policies and standards.
