Job summary

PHI Health is seeking an A&P-licensed mechanic with 2+ years of Certified Aircraft Mechanic experience to support our helicopter fleet. Remote - Texas role with full-time hours and opportunities for travel between bases. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered.

Responsibilities include maintaining airworthiness, coordinating with Lead Mechanic, and ensuring compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and RAMCO standards. Strong computer and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant
2+ years of maintenance experience as a Certified Mechanic
Able to pass pre-placement physical, drug screen, and background check
Basic communications skills and computer literacy
Willing to travel frequently, including short notice, and work night shifts.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection requirements to maintain airworthiness.
Notify Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule changes or additional resources.
Maintain field-base aircraft and review stock levels to provide required repairs.
Certify work on aircraft logs and maintenance forms per FAA, PHI Health, RAMCO entries.
Maintain tools and calibration as scheduled; collaborate with AMBS and other teams.
