Job summary

Sphere Technology, the digital arm of the Di Rezze Family Office, seeks a talented 3D Web Designer to lead the visual design and front-end experiences for immersive web projects. You will own the visual identity, collaborating with product and development to ship breathtaking, high-performant 3D experiences.

The role demands a strong 3D/WebGL portfolio, proficiency in Three.js and Figma, plus experience with Blender or Cinema 4D.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of web design experience with a strong 3D/WebGL portfolio.
• Proficiency in Three.js, WebGL, GLSL shaders or similar 3D web tech.
• Strong command of Figma for UX/UI design and prototyping.
• Experience with 3D modeling/animation tools (Blender, Cinema 4D).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (React preferred).
• Experience optimizing 3D assets for web performance (LOD, texture compression, lazy loading).
• Strong visual design sensibility — typography, color, layout, spatial composition.
• Portfolio showing live 3D web projects (links required with application).

Responsibilities

• Design and build immersive 3D web experiences using Three.js, WebGL, or comparable libraries.
• Lead the visual design direction for the Sphere Technology website from wireframe through production.
• Create interactive 3D animations, scroll-driven sequences, and particle systems aligned with brand identity.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into the web environment.
• Optimize 3D scenes and assets for performance across desktop and mobile devices.
• Translate brand guidelines into compelling spatial and visual design language.
• Produce motion design, micro-interactions, and transition sequences that elevate user experience.
• Maintain design consistency across all Sphere digital touchpoints.
• Stay current with emerging trends in WebGL, immersive web, and 3D design tooling.
• Contribute to the design system and component library.
