Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking a part-time 1-on-1 Math Tutor to deliver online lessons to Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with CCSS framework. Lessons are conducted in English with interactive, student-centered methods.

You will prepare content tailored to each student, provide timely feedback, and adapt your communication to keep young learners engaged. A bachelor’s degree and teaching experience or certificate are preferred; remote work is supported and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Math, Education, or related field preferred.
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate highly preferred.
• Available and willing to work weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with CCSS.
• Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement.
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured instruction.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding.
• Bring patience and warmth when working with young learners and adapt communication style.
• Paid training will be provided to help you get started.
