Job summary

E.N.A. Contracting is seeking an experienced Remodeling Carpenter to work on residential remodeling, additions, decks and select commercial projects in the Fort Wayne area.

This is not an entry-level position; the right candidate has broad hands-on construction experience and can complete tasks without constant supervision. Responsibilities include framing, drywall, trim, flooring, tile, cabinets, and related tasks while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• At least three years of residential remodeling or carpentry experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
• Experience with framing, drywall, kitchens, baths, finish carpentry, flooring, tile, deck construction, cabinets, windows/doors, siding or exterior repairs.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
• Work safely at heights and in occupied homes; communicate professionally.
• Reliable transportation to local jobsites and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential remodeling and general carpentry work.
• Complete framing, drywall, trim, flooring, tile, cabinet, window, door and deck tasks.
• Read measurements, layouts, scopes of work and basic plans.
• Identify jobsite issues and communicate them to avoid delays.
• Maintain quality standards through each phase of construction.
• Work safely and keep jobsites organized.
