Remittance Processing Specialist II - Equipment Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Details

Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift, Tuesday - Saturday
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 5:30pm - 1:30am
Friday - 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Saturday - 12:00pm - 8:30pm

The Processing Specialist II performs complex sorting and decisioning of non-standard or rejected transactions, focusing on reject decisioning/processing.

Responsibilities

• Reject Operator - Manage rejected transactions using reports and audit trails, perform sorting and decision-making, and header batching.
• High Speed Mail Extraction & Scanning – Use equipment like I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30, 40, 50/51, 150 Falcon for extraction and scanning.
• Sort and process medium to high complexity client transactions according to instructions.
• Maintain accuracy and performance standards.
• Assist with training as needed.

Qualifications

Basic:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Computer skills
• Decision-making ability
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Fast-paced environment adaptability
• Good interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn new processes
• Productivity and accuracy standards compliance
• Lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods

Preferred: 1 year of experience
