Job summary

FIS is seeking an entry-level Remittance Processor in Norcross, GA. This part-time role supports payment processing, remittance equipment setup, and related duties on-site from 8am to 1pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Entry level role.
• Capacity to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Considerable knowledge of remittance processing.
• Proficient written and oral communication with employees or customers.
• Knowledge of processing computer output and related procedures.
• Knowledge of processing client transactions and producing output.
• Knowledge of item processing practices and problem solving.
• Knowledge of remittance processing client specifications.
• Knowledge of offline and peripheral equipment operation/maintenance.
• Ability to assemble, organize and sequence work.
• Knowledge to identify errors in calculations and balances.

Responsibilities

• Prepares customer payments for processing.
• Coordinates setup and maintenance activities for the remittance processor and related equipment.
• Performs research and adjustment activities.
• Processes exception items.
• Maintains inventory of remittance processing supplies.
• Prepares outgoing collection notices for clients.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
• Prior or current lockbox experience.
• Schedule: Part Time, Monday-Friday 8am-1pm EST, On-site.
