Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Reminiscence Coordinator to lead the memory care neighborhood and champion Sunrise’s Resident-Centered Care model. You will guide compassionate, individualized care and meaningful resident engagement, while supporting families and developing a strong, trained team.

The role focuses on overseeing operations, activities, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and collaboration with clinical leadership to meet ISP, safety, hydration and care needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the reminiscence neighborhood in compliance with regulations and Sunrise standards
• Champion the designated care manager model and Life Skills programming
• Develop and facilitate dementia-appropriate activities that create purposeful, pleasant days
• Partner with clinical leadership to ensure ISPs, safety, hydration and care needs are met
• Support families through meetings, education and monthly support groups
• Monitor quality indicators including weight management, behaviors and medication oversight
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training and performance management
• Oversee department budget and financial performance
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management standards
