Job summary

FMC Corporation seeks an experienced Remediation Project Manager to lead environmental remediation projects at assigned sites. You will direct diverse teams through all phases of remediation and construction, ensuring safety and budget adherence, while coordinating with regulators and senior leadership.

The role requires a BS in a science or engineering field, 6+ years in remediation and project management, and experience with USEPA/state agencies; capital-project oversight and SAP/Office

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Natural Science, or related field.
• Experience with USEPA and state agencies on remediation.
• Oversight of safety, technical, organizational, and financial aspects of multiple projects.
• Experience managing capital projects and >$5M annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement remedial strategies for assigned remediation sites safely and within budget.
• Manage all projects to FMC safety standards and implement FMC’s culture of safety at all sites.
• Select, manage and deploy diverse teams of specialists to direct all phases of site remediation projects, including field execution and construction.
• Develop estimates for annual spend on projects and meet budgets; prepare authorization documents and cost controls.
• Negotiate with governmental authorities on scope of work and FMC involvement at sites.
• Retain and manage environmental consultants, laboratories, and remedial contractors.
• Prepare and present status updates to partners and senior leadership on progress and issues.
• Communicate with management and other FMC stakeholders on project status and issues.
• Identify new issues and trends and communicate relevant matters to the appropriate audience.
• Occasional travel to project sites for oversight of remedial construction and regulatory meetings.
