Job summary

Charter Construction in Portland, OR is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Remediation Team with administrative and technical tasks. You will assist with bids, project setup, and project management.

Responsibilities include takeoffs, pricing, purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, logs, schedules, and documentation, with emphasis on coordination among PMs, supers, clients and subs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with project managers, supers, subcontractors and clients.
• Good written communication for logs, RFIs, submittals, and documentation.
• Familiarity with reading plans, takeoffs, and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate takeoffs and assist with material pricing and estimating.
• Track and enter purchase orders; prepare and track subcontractors and change orders.
• Manage project documentation, logs, schedules, and meeting minutes.
