Job summary

ProEco Environmental Solutions seeks a detailed Ohio/West Virginia Remediation Field Technician. You will perform hands-on on-site remediation, operate equipment, and drive commercial vehicles while upholding our safety program to protect workers and the environment.

The role emphasizes field work (85%) with some shop/office support and rotating day/night shifts. A valid Class A CDL, OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER, and strong safety record are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or technical coursework in Environmental Science, Safety, or related vocational trade preferred.
• 1–3 years of field experience in environmental remediation, spill response, earthmoving, or industrial services required.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (or ability to complete upon employment).
• Must be able to work Monday–Sunday with 12–14 hour shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations Manager and Site Supervisor with operational and HSE tasks.
• Perform hands-on remediation applications and equipment setup, monitoring, and support.
• Safely operate a mini excavator and tracked skid steer for site work and decontamination.
• Maintain field logs, safety documentation, and pre‑trip inspections.
• Participate in safety meetings, tailgates, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
