Job summary

ProEco in Belmont, OH is seeking a dedicated Ohio/West Virginia Remediation Field Technician. The role involves hands-on site remediation, equipment operation, and adherence to safety programs to ensure a safe work environment.

You will drive commercial vehicles, support compliance investigations, and contribute to project reporting. The position demands field-intensive work with day and night shifts, 85/15 field-to-shop ratio, and readiness to be on-call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must understand applicable OSHA, DOT, EPA, and Ohio EPA regulations.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Experience with in-situ and ex-situ remediation techniques.
• Ability to operate field equipment and drive commercial vehicles.
• Ability to participate in safety training and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations Management and Site Supervisor with operational and HSE functions.
• Perform hands-on remediation tasks and monitor equipment and chemical injections.
• Execute excavation, material handling, and grading activities as needed.
• Operate medium-sized excavators and skid steers for site work.
• Maintain logs, pre-trip inspections, and safety documentation.
• Adhere to safety processes and wear PPE at all times.
• Report incidents, hazards, and equipment issues promptly.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Assist in field operations for affiliated entities as required.
