You will teach groups of 4-6 students, use diagnostic and remedial strategies, schedule time efficiently, and produce progress reports, with Wilson Reading Certification as a plus. Minimum starting salary is $46,000 with Bachelor’s, $49,000 with Master’s.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with certified teaching program.
• Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Elementary Education, Reading Specialist, Math or Special Education.
• Skilled in delivering targeted instruction; Wilson Certification is a plus.
• Teaching or tutoring experience required if not certified.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Instructing small groups of 4-6 students focused on reading and/or math to achieve grade-level performance.
• Utilizing diagnostic and remedial strategies to address individual student needs and monitor growth.
• Establishing appropriate groups and scheduling instructional time efficiently.
• Generating written progress reports as required.
• Adhering to agency guidelines and completing documentation in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
