Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teaches remedial math to pupils in a classroom, using the state-adopted curriculum.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for individualized and small group instruction.
• Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior to create a conducive learning environment.
• Evaluates pupil progress and keeps appropriate records; prepares progress reports.
• Communicates with parents through conferences and other means to discuss pupil progress.
• Interacts with pupils, staff and parents professionally.
• Active participation in school improvement initiatives and district programs.
