Job summary

New York Air Brake Corp. is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2PM-10:30PM) in Springfield, MO. The role offers $19/hr base rate plus a $1/hr differential and benefits start day one.

Candidates must pass drug, background, physical, and audiogram to start. Responsibilities include disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts, identifying serviceable vs non-serviceable parts, operating shop equipment, and adhering to all quality and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, and ultrasonic washers.
• Handle parts and tools safely.
• Use power and hand tools correctly (impact wrenches, drills).

$19/hr + $1/hr differential

Production Supervisor

Essential Functions

• Basic disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts.
• Identify serviceable vs. non serviceable parts.
• Operation of semi-automatic equipment i.e. pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, ultra-sonic washers.
• Handle parts, tools in a safe manner.
• Proper use of power and manual tools. i.e. impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, hand tools.
• Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
