Job Description

The role involves processing defective beams, cutting them to usable lengths, operating cranes, and maintaining the storage area for processed beams. Responsibilities include assembling units and moving them back into the production process using the crane as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of six months experience in manufacturing, farming, agriculture, landscaping, carpentry, mechanical, construction, warehouse, or military environments
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environment
• Adherence to safety rules and regulations
• Willingness to wear PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, walking, climbing, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to 12 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator in manufacturing
• Experience in lumber or wood products
• Troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing setting
