Aramark Nexus at Caprock is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead daily culinary operations for a large residential workforce community near Pampa, Texas. Relocation to Caprock, on-site housing and meals are provided, and you will oversee food quality, safety, and team development.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in a high-volume setting, with opportunities to shape menus, production planning, and guest dining experiences for residents at Caprock.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional culinary experience preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume kitchen or food service operation.
• Willingness to relocate to Caprock near Pampa, Texas and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support daily culinary and kitchen operations in a high-volume dining environment.
• Lead cooks and culinary employees during preparation and meal service.
• Maintain standards for food quality, presentation, portioning, and recipe execution.
• Coordinate food production to meet required meal volumes and service times.
• Train, coach, and develop culinary team members.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory, storage, and product rotation.
• Monitor food waste and support food cost and production controls.
• Assist with scheduling and daily labor deployment.
• Partner with leadership to ensure consistent execution.
