Job summary

Aramark Nexus at Caprock is hiring Cooks to join our culinary team at the Caprock Workforce Community near Pampa, Texas. This full-time position pays $20.00 per hour with free on-site housing and meals available for employees.

You will prepare and cook meals in a high-volume residential workforce setting, upholding food quality, safety, and sanitation standards as part of a dependable culinary team.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or professional food service experience preferred.
• Experience as a Cook/Line Cook/Prep Cook is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation methods and kitchen equipment.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menus, and production standards.
• Follow proper cooking techniques, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Support high-volume meal preparation and service.
• Prepare ingredients and complete food prep as needed.
• Operate grills, ovens, fryers, stovetops, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, temperature control, and proper handling procedures.
• Store, label, rotate, and handle food products.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory as needed.
• Work as part of the culinary team to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and Aramark standards.

Job Description

Aramark Nexus is hiring Cooks to join our culinary team at the Caprock Workforce Community near Pampa, Texas.

This is a full-time culinary opportunity paying $20.00 per hour, with free room and board available on-site.

As a Cook at Caprock, you will prepare and cook meals in a high-volume food service environment serving a large residential workforce community. We are looking for dependable culinarians who take pride in food quality, work well as part of a team, and can maintain strong food safety and sanitation standards.

We welcome candidates with experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, Restaurant Cook, Grill Cook, Production Cook, or other food service and culinary positions.
