Job summary

Van Meter is seeking a Traveling Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver products to customer locations while providing exemplary service. This role builds positive relationships, ensures accurate and timely deliveries, and supports DOT compliance and vehicle upkeep.

Relocation is required for approximately 6-18 months at a time; candidates must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, obtain a Class A CDL if needed, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL as needed.
• Ability to meet and maintain DOT qualifications.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and operate lift truck equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and accurately to customer locations.
• Load, unload, and secure materials for transport.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
• Maintain DOT compliance and safe driving standards.
• Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow established processes, procedures, and safety policies.
• Support operational coverage and continuous improvement efforts.
