Job summary

Caring Transitions of Mocksville and Statesville is hiring awesome part-time team members to help seniors and others downsize, relocate, and liquidate items through online and in-person estate sales. You will deliver excellent customer service and adapt to varied client needs.

We offer flexible, part-time hours with no guaranteed schedule, making it ideal for parents, students, or retirees. Starting pay is $15+ per hour, with opportunities to advance based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• Compassion and respect for clients and their families.
• Strong verbal communication skills and English fluency.
• Ability to complete tasks and work in fast paced, changing environments.
• Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
• Punctual and attentive to detail.
• Have transportation and smartphone access for scheduling and time keeping.
• Age 18 years or older with valid driver’s license.
• Must undergo pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team to downsize and relocate clients and liquidate unneeded items.
• Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in their homes and in senior living communities.
• Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal and cleanout.
• Use hand-held devices to create, photograph, and describe items.
• Sort, organize, research, label and handle items for resale.
• Assist buyers during on-site pickup and sales.
