PetCure Oncology in Clifton, NJ, is seeking a Relief (as-needed) Veterinary Technician to support radiation and medical oncology patients. You will assist doctors with anesthesia, monitoring, lab testing, and coordinating admissions and client care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) strongly preferred.
• Veterinary Chemotherapy/Radiation Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Strong anesthesia skills (Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, EtCO2 monitoring; integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors).
• Positive work attitude, self-motivated, excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled technical support for radiation oncology and medical oncology procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment.
• Perform laboratory testing.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and client support.
