Compensation Range: RVT $26.00–$40.00/hr | Senior Veterinary Assistant $25.00–$36.00/hr

We are looking for Relief Veterinary Technicians to join our Emergency department.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Support the Emergency department on a flexible, as‑needed basis
• Perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position‑related calculations
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
• Contribute to a positive, team‑focused hospital culture
• Provide direct patient care.

What You Bring

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry; emergency and/or specialty experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
• Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position‑related calculations
• Ability to maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP), obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into this role (waived if you hold a valid CA‑RVT license)
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential preferred
