Modern Animal is seeking Relief Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our Los Angeles clinics. You will work relief shifts, delivering compassionate and professional veterinary care while maintaining accurate records and supporting DVMs.
Ideal candidates hold an active California RVT license and VTNE certification, with the ability to perform radiology, lab duties, and pharmacology tasks. Independent contractors enjoy flexible shifts and autonomy.

Location: Relief shifts are available at our Los Angeles clinics, ranging from 6 to 10 hours throughout the week.
Liability Insurance Recommended: At Modern Animal, our relief technicians work as independent contractors, so we recommend they carry their own liability insurance. This way, our relief technicians enjoy flexibility and independence while staying covered.
The pay range for this position is $220.00-294.25 per 10 hour shift; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will not be eligible for medical, financial, and/or other full-time benefits.This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
