We are looking for a relief Veterinary Assistant for Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service!

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 1+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry, Emergency experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
• Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses (if you hold a WA state Med Clerk Lisence), client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations

Work Schedule:

• Relief Shifts
• Overnight shift - 6pm-6am, Day Shifts 6am-6pm, OR Swing Shifts 1pm to 1am are available.

Compensation:

• The pay range for this position is $20-24per hour depending on experience and certification
• Night shift differential: Additional $2.50/hr Night shift premium differential for any hours worked from 6pm to 6am for unlicensed veterinary technicians
• Stackable weekend differential: Additional.50 cents/hr any hours worked on Saturday and Sundays
