GoodVets facilitates the veterinarian entrepreneurship journey by partnering with talented, experienced DVMs to bring GoodVets to their home city or region. As an owner, they lead their own team of associate veterinarians and support staff, and practice high-quality medicine with full medical autonomy.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Relief Veterinarian to join our team and provide high-quality medical care to our patients. This role offers flexibility as a 1099 employee while providing enhanced support, consistency in scheduling, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals in a General Practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate is available to support the same day/schedule each week or every other week including weekend shifts.
  • Deliver comprehensive medical care to pets, including diagnostics, treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our experienced veterinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners.
  • Implement company protocols to effectively manage time while maximizing standards of patient care

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in small animal or General Practice medicine.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong medical and surgical skills preferred
