Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Relief Veterinarian to provide in-person preventive veterinary care at Community Clinics on a contract basis. You will exercise independent professional judgment and deliver high-quality care in a community setting with no guaranteed hours or minimums.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, unrestricted DVM license in each state where services will be provided.
• Availability for independent contractor engagement and credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite veterinary services at Community Clinics on weekdays, evenings and weekends.
• Perform focused vitals checks and preventive veterinary services (vaccines, microchips, etc).
• Educate pet parents on preventive care and products; complete EMRs.
• Exercise independent professional judgment while complying with laws and clinic standards.
