Job summary

Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown Virginia is growing and seeking a relief veterinarian to join our four DVM team. We are privately owned and dedicated to state-of-the-art emergency and critical care for small animals and some exotic pets.

Our services include laser therapy, hospitalization, bloodwork, and emergency surgeries. We are looking for compassionate, team-spirited clinicians experienced in Emergency Medicine to cover overnight (6PM-8AM or 4PM-Midnight) and weekend day shifts

Qualifications

• DVM degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary state license is required.
• DEA license preferred but not required; USDA accreditation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care during overnights and weekend shifts.
• Collaborate with a four-DVM team to ensure patient care and smooth operations.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members about treatment plans and progress.

We are a privately owned clinic dedicated to providing state of the art emergency & critical care for small animals & some exotic pets. We offer laser therapy, hospitalization, bloodwork (Abaxis blood machine), and most emergency surgeries.

Job Description

We’re looking for R elief Veterinarians who are compassionate, team players and strong communicators experienced in Emergency Medicine. We are looking for Wednesday and Thursday overnights (6PM-8AM or 4PM to Midnight) and Saturday and Sunday day shift (8AM-6PM).

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Active veterinary state license
• Current DEA License preferred but not required
• USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
