**RELIEF Mental Health Direct Care Professionals****(RELIEF Residential Service Technicians)****Pay rate****: $20.50 / hour****Who You Are****Who We Are**The Opportunity Alliance has five separate adult residential programs in Portland and South Portland, ME. Each of these programs supports 8 -12 adults at a time. These are24-hour residential treatment programs, providing a supportive living environment using an integrated health model, recognizing the unique needs of each resident.**What You Will Do**The **Relief Residential Services Technicians** are technical positions that provide direct services in support of the lives of people living in residential programs. These positions contribute to the accomplishment of the Agency mission through the provision of direct service. These positions manage all aspects of the medication administration program within the program.Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Program Director.**Schedule****Per diem (as needed); there is no set schedule and hours cannot be guaranteed.*** *These programs operate on a 24 hour/day, 7 days a week basis. Willingness to have availability on weekends/holidays may be required.***Location****On-site in Portland or South Portland****Qualification****s*** High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in mental health preferred.* Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment; then maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status.* Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.* Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.* Must pass CNA registry check* Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.* Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 pounds.* Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area.
