PRC Baker Places is seeking a Relief Residential Counselor to provide support and counseling to adults with psychiatric, substance use, and HIV-related disabilities. This on-call, non-benefited position offers exposure to diverse settings across several San Francisco sites.
You will assist with intake, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and daily living skills coaching in a social rehabilitation framework that emphasizes harm reduction and client empowerment.

Title: Relief Residential Counselor

Facility Type:Licensed and Non-Licensed, DOJ/FBI and CDSS Background Clearance Required
This is an on-call relief position, with a maximum of 20 hours per week, Non-Benefited, Non-Union role.
Position Overview
The Relief Residential Counselor provides support and counseling services to an adult population with psychiatric, substance abuse and/or HIV-AIDS related disabilities. Relief Residential Counselors advocate for and respond to clients’ treatment and rehabilitation needs. All agency services are provided from the philosophy of social rehabilitation, which integrates teaching daily living skills in a safe and healthy environment.
