Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Relief Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient care.

You will educate and mentor pharmacy technicians, maintain strong patient relationships, and step in for the pharmacist in charge while upholding Meijer policies and state laws. Immunization services may be included.

This position offers weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, and opportunities for career growth within Meijer Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies; understanding state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform clinical services, including immunizations where allowed.
