Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks a Relief Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role at West Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, MI. You will fill prescriptions, educate patients, and mentor technicians while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient operations.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, are licensed in the state, and have immunization certification. Experience in retail/community pharmacy is valued to advance patient care and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice experience.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and procedures.
• Understanding of state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Hold technicians accountable for results in a constructive manner.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
