Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to fill prescriptions safely and accurately while maintaining positive patient and team relationships. You will mentor technicians, drive growth, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and oversee operations when the pharmacist in charge is unavailable.

The role involves clinical services such as immunizations, strong communication, and prioritization skills to support Meijer's community-focused pharmacy team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist ( Retail/Community ).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and regulatory policies.

• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.

What You'll be Doing:

1. Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
2. Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
3. Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner and have a vision to expand and grow the pharmacy business.
4. Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
5. Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
6. Competent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures as well as state and federal laws.
7. Effective communication skills and agent of change.
8. Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
9. Listen to the patient and resolve patient’s needs, customer service.
10. In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.
11. Perform and oversee (where allowed) clinical services, including immunizations This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

1. Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
2. Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
3. Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana) Retail/Community Practice.
4. Working knowledge of pharmacy system, working knowledge of policies and procedures, understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates.
