Job summary

Thrifty White Pharmacy seeks a Relief Pharmacist to join our patient-focused, technology-enabled team in Virginia, Minnesota. This role emphasizes clinical services beyond dispensing, including disease-state management and patient education.

Ideal candidates hold a current pharmacist license (or eligibility), PharmD/MTM certification, immunization and CPR certifications, and an NPI number. We offer growth, teamwork, and an employee-owned culture in a Midwest community.

Qualifications

Pharmacist must hold a current pharmacy license (or be eligible for licensure).
Pharmacist should have a PharmD or MTM certification.
Current Immunization Certification is required.
Current CPR Certification is required.
NPI number is required for billing and identification.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Promote and enroll patients in Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx programs.
Lead the pharmacy team with coaching and high patient service standards.
Structure workflows to optimize prescription filling, counseling, and clinical services.
Develop and follow up on LTC (long-term care) business for nursing homes and group homes.
Identify LTC and Specialty opportunities and coordinate with marketing.
Dispense medications and provide all related clinical pharmacy services.
